30 Rock

30 Rock: Flu Shot (Episode 308)

In the midst of freezing NYC temps (it is pretty stinkin' cold here), Liz is looking forward to her yearly Caribbean vaca.  In the style of the French, Liz explains that she can wear dark socks with sandals while lounging on the beach and eat all the soft-serve ice cream her stomach can handle.  I want to go to there.  Alas, Cerie forgot to tell Lemon that the resort is overbooked, meaning Liz will have to spend her holiday hanging with crew guys and flu-sick Kenneth.

30 Rock: Senor Macho Solo (Episode 307)

Jack meets with Tracy to discuss his latest extravagant spending habits (including a shirt made of dollar bills and solid goal sneakers, hawt). Tracy admits he has to spend his money ASAP so that half of what's left isn't enough for Angie to live on, should she try to divorce him for his money. Jack says this is no way to live; he'll meet with Tracy and Angie and devise some sort of post-nuptial agreement so Tracy can have peace of mind.

30 Rock: Christmas Special (Episode 306)

"Merry almost Christmas!" Liz announces as she enters the writers' room, carrying a box full of letters to Santa.  She wants the gang to help her sponsor underprivileged kids this holiday, and her request is met with a collective round of boos.  But after Jenna (who's drunk on cheap brandy) and Kenneth get on board (to which Toofer wonders, who could be less fortunate than Kenneth?), the rest of the team concedes.

30 Rock: Reunion (Episode 305)

Things are all topsy turvy this week at 30 Rock. Unicorn-loving Kathy seemingly willed her dad to wake from his extended coma, squashing Jack's CEO dreams as Mr. Geist decided his work at NBC was unfinished.

Kenneth is getting more laughs than Tracy in the elevators, causing Tracy (and eventually Jenna) great distress, naturally. And Liz attends her 20-year high school reunion only to find out she wasn't the lovable nerd she thought she was. Instead, she was the class bully with a razor-sharp tongue, causing the most popular girls in school to have facial ticks and years of therapy.

30 Rock: The One with the Cast of Night Court (Episode 303)

Playing into her real-life paparazzi persona, Jennifer Aniston stopped by 30 Rock this week to portray a gorgeous, desperately dressed and slightly nutty man eater.

Jen plays Claire, Liz and Jenna's ex-roomie from their Chicago days.  Claire's fun, but a crazy kind of fun.  She's a non-stop partier and always seems to take things one step too far in the guy department.  Plus, the last time she visited she was making horrible jewelry that the girls were suckered into buying.  Too bad for them, she arrives peddling homemade hats this time around.

30 Rock: Believe in the Stars (Episode 302)

Liz assures Jack her staff will be behave while she's in Chicago for jury duty.  Just like moi, smarty Liz Lemon decided to keep her Chicago address so that she could vote in a swing state.  Impressed, Jack bumps Liz's plane ticket to business class and tosses her some sleeping pills to pop on the plane.  Liz makes the rounds before she leaves, checking in with Tracy and Jenna.

30 Rock: Do Over (Episode 301)

The original maverick--Jack Donagy--is back from his government job (though not at liberty to say how he got out of it) and ready to claim his old position from Devon. He runs into Liz strolling to work in a fancy, very un-Lemon-like ensemble. She explains that the adoption agency is doing her at-home evaluation today, and she wants to make a great impression. So great, she even got rid of her Colin Firth movie collection in case they consider it erotica.

30 Rock: Cooter (Episode 215)

I can't believe "30 Rock" is over. 15 measley episodes and we're done until fall. What am I supposed to watch until then? I finally saw "Iron Man" today, and it was freaking AWESOME. Maybe I could watch that every Thursday night from now until the third season premiere?

Goregasm: The Legend of Dong-Slayer

Tracy and Frank have been hard at work on Tracy's porn video game. Once they've got the voiceovers, care of Grizz and Jenna, recorded, and an "Additional Filth By" credited to an appreciative Frank, the only thing left to do is test. So to whom does this responsibility fall? Frank, of course, which is just as well, as everybody else has their hands full, so to speak. And Jack?

30 Rock: Sandwich Day (Episode 214)

Noooo!: Tracy tries to get Lutz to spit out his sandwich while Frank grimaces.Noooo!: Tracy tries to get Lutz to spit out his sandwich while Frank grimaces.Who knew sandwiches could be so appealing? I mean, apart from Joey on "Friends", who knew people could get so worked up over sandwiches as much as the TGS cast and crew do? As these sandwiches come but once a year, brought in by the teamsters from a Brooklyn sandwich shop only they know about, they must be awesome. Wish someone would bring me a sandwich.
