90210: Games People Play (Episode 10)

Kelly is back from seeing Dylan and tells Silver that he's the same old Dylan who won't commit.  Kelly finds out about Ryan and Kim's student/teacher relationship and asks Harry about it. He tells her he can't say anything about it.  Kelly asks Kim to talk to her about Ryan. She asks if he took advantage of her and she refuses to talk about it.  After seeing Ethan and Annie kissing in the empty classroom she decides to make their lives miserable throughout the episode.  She starts by telling Annie they need to meet after class and talk.  Annie thinks Naomi knows about them and decides to tell her the truth, but Naomi cuts her off before she can.  Naomi starts crying and tells her that she's having a real hard time right now. Her mom signed the divorce papers and with her and Ethan breaking up she just really needs her friends and some retail therapy.  Annie agrees to go with her after school.  As soon as Annie walks away Naomi pulls out her compact and starts fixing her face. She was totally faking the whole crying bit. 

After school Annie and Naomi go shopping.  While Annie is trying on dresses for her birthday party, Naomi gets her ex-boyfriend, Jason's number out of Annie's phone.  She asks Annie questions about him and asks if Annie got over him.  Annie explains that because they broke up over the phone she doesn't really feel closure with it.  

The next day, Annie gets home and her mom and grandma reveal her ex, Jason, in the pool. He gets out and wishes her a Happy Birthday.  She looks shocked and asks why he's there.  Naomi walks up and is going on and on about how exciting it is to have him there for Annie. She informs Annie that she'll set up a dinner that night for all their friends and leaves before Annie can refuse.

Adrianna goes to Navid's house, which is huge.  At first he's being secretive and won't let her in.  When he finally lets her in he's holding his baby sister and his entire extended family is there.  His mom invites her to stay for dinner. They are all very excited to meet her. Navid's family fills Adrianna in on his childhood and embarrassing stories.  She loves it though. Navid's mom asks her how she's been doing since she got out of rehab. Navid tells his mom to stop, but Adrianna seems happy that she asked.

Kimberly calls Ryan and apologizes to him for everything that has happened.  He tells her he's upset that all the kids at school think he's a pervert.

Dinner with Annie, Jason, Naomi, Ethan, Dixon, and Silver does not go well.  With Naomi egging it on, Jason tells stories about himself and Annie.  He also informs them that he's planning on going to UCLA next year.  Naomi tells Jason how wonderful he is and that she can't believe he and Annie are not together because they're obviously perfect together.  Annie can't take it anymore and excuses herself, as does Ethan just seconds later.  They meet up at the restaurant bar and Ethan is pissed.  He wants Annie to tell Jason about them. Annie says she wants to wait until he goes back home.  Naomi interrupts them and asks them to come back to the table.

Kim buys drugs from Adrianna's drug dealer and handcuffs him.  She tells him she'll cut him a deal if he'll vouch for her to his boss as his new drug dealer.

Later that night, Jason and Annie are brushing their teeth and discussing the weirdness of the situation. He tells her he hasn't forgotten how great she is and kisses her.  He completely takes her by surprise, but before she can say anything Dixon interrupts them by yelling for Jason to hurry up so they can play a video game.

At breakfast, Harry and Debbie are leaving the table as Annie comes downstairs and asks Jason what he's up to for the day.  He says he's going to UCLA for a campus tour.  He tells her maybe if he gets in and they live closer things can work out for them again.  She explains that they are truly over and that the kiss last night caught her by surprise. She tells him she's moved on.  He says he'll just go home then, but she convinces him that she needs all her "friends" at dinner.

At school, Adrianna tells Navid how great his family is and that she's so happy they didn't judge her for going to rehab.  Navid tells her he's a virgin.  She kisses him and tells him she's not expecting anything from him.  Naomi catches up with Annie in the hall and tells her she and Jason are great together and should get back together.  Annie spots Ethan and interrupts Naomi to catch up with him.  Naomi stands from afar and watches them.  She doesn't seem happy about it.  Annie asks Ethan if he's still mad at her for last night.  He says he's tired of hiding their relationship and wants to tell Naomi and Jason the truth. She says she still wants to wait until he's home.  He walks away and tells her to have fun with Jason then.  This makes Naomi happy that they're fighting.

Kim meets with the drug dealers boss, who at first doesn't seem to trust her.  She convinces him she's cool and he gives her the drugs.  She takes them and tells him she's waited a long time to get a sleaze bag like him that sells drugs to kids.  The cops pull up and arrest him.

That night everyone's at Annie's party, singing Karoake.  Everyone thinks her grandma is an awesome singer.  I thought she sounded pretty crappy, but whatever.  Naomi arrives and asks Annie where Ethan is. Annie blows her off and says she's not sure.  When she walks away Annie tells Silver about her fight with Ethan.  She then goes outside to get some air.  Ethan walks up with her present and apologizes for being a jerk.  They agree to tell everyone tonight that they're together.  They are kissing as Naomi looks out the window.  She grabs Jason to rub it in his face, what a bitch.  Naomi takes off in to the other room crying.

Kelly stops by Ryan's apartment and runs into him in the hall as he's leaving with suitcases.  She tells him Harry called her and told her the truth.  She asks where he's going.  He tells her he's not sure but needs to get out of town.  Kelly says hopefully they can go out sometime when he gets back.  Kim walks in and Kelly says she's gotta get going but wishes him a good trip.

Annie and Ethan look for Jason and Naomi, they find them making out in Annie's bed.  Annie asks her how she could do that to her.  Naomi finally comes clean to everyone and tells them she did it all on purpose to ruin Annie's birthday because she saw them kissing at school.  Annie and Jason talk in the hallway. She tells him she didn't want to hurt him by telling him about her and Ethan. He says she's not the Annie he knew and that he's got to get to the airport.  Annie goes downstairs as they're lighting her candles and yells at Naomi to meet her outside right now.  Finally, Annie's going to stand up to the spoiled bitch.  She tells Annie that her life was great before Annie arrived and now her parents are divorcing, she and Ethan broke up and it's all because of Annie.  Annie tells her it's Naomi's own fault that her life is screwed up. In the middle of all this a guy in uniform walks up.  They both rudely ask who he is. He tells them he's the son of Harry and Tracy. Annie and Naomi just stand there looking at him stunned.

Next week, I can't wait to see how their brother is worked into this. With them not getting along I don't see how it can end up well. Hopefully, Naomi will get over Annie and Ethan dating and lose the bitch role.  Brenda is back, but is in the hospital for an unknown reason. Kelly goes to see her and Brenda drops the bombshell to Kelly that she slept with Ryan! Oh no she didn't! She could've at least let Kelly sleep with him first. I definitely don't see Brenda lasting very long on the show again. Navid and Adrianna seem to be getting rather close, but their show of affection comes off really cheesy.  I'm hoping their acting skills get better.
