Step It Up & Dance: Battle Zone (Episode 3)

If you didn't make it to the theaters to catch "Step Up 2 The Streets", your breakin' battle needs could be met by this ep, which saw Cody, Miguel, and Janelle winning the audition -- hip-hop dancing for film choreographer Dave Scott. The challenge? Lead crews in team battles against each other, with the elimination team to be chosen after the battle is voer.

Janelle leads Tovah and Mike to victory with a tight routine, and a great deal of showy freestyling from Janelle, who wins immunity for herself.

Miguel's team is no more certain during the choreography stage, but they're not lacking in confidence, so they battle Cody's team and save themselves from elimination. They had spirit and verve, though not enough freedom to go far enough outside of their training to take the top spot.

Cody actually danced hip-hop as a kid at his mom's dance studio, though this doesn't make his choreographing process any easier. Whlie he has experience and versatility in Mochi, he also has a lack of experience and confidence from Jessica. Also, Jessica busts out the worm during the battle, and it's not good. You could hear the boos all the way from Hollywood.

And finally Jessica's corny, wormin' ass gets cut, and we see her last dance.
