30 Rock: Succession (Episode 213)

Jack's nemesis on the West Coast may know about Jack accidentally selling NBC to some Germans. He may even be marrying current GE Don Geiss's daugther Kathy. But it may be for naught, as Don promises to appoint Jack as his successor when he retires. Don just has to pitch the idea to the GE board, but it should be an easy sell -- I mean, two of its members are his dogs.

While Jack's future is assured, he has to find his own replacement. He chooses Liz, who couldn't be more tired of writing with the surly Girlie Show crew. Liz takes to corporate life, with its executive lunches and fat starting salaries, like a duck takes to water. Too bad she was indirectly responsible for letting Don slip into a diabetic coma before the board meeting. Devon, seeing his chance, calls an emergency board meeting and, in a slick, sick move, has Don's daughter Kathy made the new chairwoman of GE. Given Kathy's fondness for hiding behind the dryer, that means the real power behind the GE throne is Kathy's fiance, Devon.

Elsewhere in the studio, Tracy sets to creating a porn video game. Playing Salieri to Tracy's Mozart, Frank can barely conceal his jealousy while he helps Tracy achieve porn videogame nirvana.
