Rock of Love 2 - "Bret's Rock of Love" (Season Finale)

Well, we've gone from 20 skanks down to 2. Tonight we find out the special lady Bret has chosen to spend some time with him - until "Rock of Love 3", of course. Bret is taking duck lips Daisy and soccer Mom Ambre off to Cancun to help him make his decision. The gals pack up their gear and the trio hop on a private jet and wing their way south of the border. Bret's excited because he the VH-1 producers has planned lots of fun stuff for them. The group arrives at the hotel and are greeted by a Mayan dance troupe. Oh, and booze. The girls go into their suite and get a bunch of presents from the show's sponsors Bret. The ladies meet Bret for dinner. He needs to dig deep and find out which one was the woman for him. Bret has a bunch of questions about "stuff...and life." Daisy pulls out a list of questions - and a pencil - for the dinner. Ambre is surprised that Daisy can even read the words on the paper. Daisy wants to know if she and Bret have more than just a physical connection. Bret tells her that she's still a bit of a mystery to him and he needs to know her on a more "cerebral" level. Good luck with that, Bret. Ambre points out that Daisy uses her feminine wiles and sexuality to get to Bret. Ambre wants to know what Bret thinks about their relationship. Bret says sometime he feels that she wants to win. She grabs him and tries to distract him with a kiss. He wonders if this is just a big competition for Ambre to win. Daisy imples that Bret isn't the typical guy that Ambre dates. Ambre says that yes, he wasn't the usual type but he's exactly what she's been looking for. Bret has the most difficult decision of his life. The next day Bret is going on an "amazing" date with Ambre. The next day he's going on an "insanely amazing" date with Daisy - who's upset that she won't see Bret for a whole day. Bret has a lot to mull over and excuses himself.

Ambre gets ready for her date with Bret. Daisy's feelings are hurt because Amber thinks that she uses her sexuality to get to Bret. She says Ambre doesn't feel sexy. Daisy tells Ambre that she doesn't carry herself like a sexy person. Ambre tells her she's dead wrong. Ambre admitted that Daisy was sexy and that a little surgery could make her sexier, but "surgery won't make (Daisy) smarter." Touche. Daisy said Ambre wished she was more like her. She said she didn't set out to make a sexual connection with Bret - it just "happened." Ambre is determined to show Bret how sexual she really is and prepares to "bring it" on their date. Ambre and Bret meet up at Xcaret, which is a "Mayan awesome jungle experience" - and a spa. She feels she and Bret have every kind of connection - except for a physical one. They take a boat to a grotto where they get massasges. They both "no speaky so much", which gives us another chance to enjoy one of Bret's songs. Bret was starting to fall asleep and discovered Ambre straddling him and giving him her own, special massage. And then they made out. A lot. Grossly. According to Ambre it was "sexy...and hot...and...God."

After their expedition, Bret and Ambre have a spot of lunch. According to Bret, "There's some sort of Margarita involved. Thank God." Bret is glad that Ambre has a sense of adventure. Ambre feels likewise. Bret's feeling very emotionally connected to her right now. He tells Ambre he's dated more girls with Daisy's "mentality". He's not sure Ambre can hang as a rock star girlfriend. Ambre says she understands that it's all a job to Bret. Ambre said she had a great time on their date and knows thast she's fallen in loive with him anbd she fits well in his nook. Keep your minds out of the gutter, this is basic cable, folks! They part for an hour and meet up again for dinner. Ambre returns to the room and knocks on the door (why doesn't she have a key?) Daisy tried to get some info out of Ambre. She's still miffed at her and gives her the cold shoulder. She says that for someone she's the ugliest woman she's ever met in her life. Ambre says "dude" a lot, says that Bret needs to see the ugly side of Daisy and calls her a "hateful bitch." Daisy hates that Ambre has what she perceives as a perfect life. Ambre says she refuses to play her game, but manages to call her a bitch one last time before leaving the room.

Amber put on her "insanely hot" best for her dinner with Bret. He just wants them to kick back. He gives her a present - a silver charm necklace, which he puts on her with his "fumbly fingers." She's overly appreciative of the gift and sounds a little phony - I am not feeling Ambre right now. Bret says he knows that Ambre has "got it going on" - and he knew it since the motocross track. They both enjoyed hanging with each other. Sounds like the beginning of a wonderful friendship. Ambre "turns up the heat" and tells Bret she's not wearing any underwear. As Bret would say,"Ka-ching". She then did her best Sharon Stone in "Basic Instinct" impersonation and shows Bret her "undersmile" before he says "Check, please!" and takes her to his suite. He helpfully points out all of the areas in his room where they could make love - there's even a bed on the balcony. Bret says it's the "moment of truth" betweeen he and Ambre.

THe next morning, Bret put his wig on (albeit a bit sloppily) before bidding adieu to Ambre. He thinks she's the total package. Ambre gets back into the room and has breakfast with Daisy. Ambre thinks Daisy is jealous and is trying to make Ambre jealous by acting overly excited about their date that day, but it's not working. She thinks Daisy's being immature. She says Daisy needs to grow up and is an "absolute disaster." Daisy acts like she hasn't seen Bret on months, not a day. Bret's taking Daisy on a boat for some fishing, some deep sea crusing and some "look aroundage" - oh, and booze. Bret tells Daisy that he initally pegged her as a party girl. He wants to know where she's at with her life right now. He thinks Daisy may be in a transitional period. Dasiy can't articulate her feelings to save her life. Bret doubts her abilty to have a grown up relationship, but she's got a "heart of gold" (just like movie hookers.) They do some Titanic-esque posing on the front of the boat. Everything's going great until Daisy starts to feel seasick. Bret's hoping she yaks over the side of the boat, because it will make good chum for fishing. Daisy is getting a little lesson in fishing 101, but can't concentrate because she's feeling so awful.

Daisy finally throws up. A lot. Bret said of all the girl's he's seen puke, Daisy was the hottest. Is that really a compliment? Bret tried to comfort her, which made a huge impression on Daisy. Bret sends her up to change for dinner, and kisses her pukey mouth. Ewww. Daisy put on a slinky dress and Bret donned his nicest Ed Hardy t-shirt. He has already said "Check, please!" He gave Daisy the same damn necklace he gave Ambre. How tacky. Daisy just wants to throw out that she sees Ambre as not Bret's type. She brings up the white picket fence thing again and says that Ambre's just "boring." She says she's got a lot of love and passion for Bret. Then she says "I love you" to Bret and he kisses her to avoid saying something awkward like, "That's nice." They go back to Bret's suite to once again test the boxsprings on his balcony bed. Bret still has unanswered questions about Daisy, but he still thinks she might be "the one" for him.

Oh, hey kids, we only have to wait for June 3 for Bret's new album! Daisy had a "wonderful, wonderful" night with Bret and makes the walk of shame back to the room. She knock on the door and gets an icy reception from Ambre. That is one cold hotel room. Ambre can't understand why she's getting the silent treatment from Daisy. Ambre finally breaks the silence and asks Daisy why she has been being so mean to her. Ambre says Daisy is the most immature 25-year-old she's ever met. Ambre told Daisy she's changed since they left the house and went to Mexico. Daisy was mad that Ambre called her a stripper. Umm...that's your job. I haven't heard an argument like that since I was in high school. Daisy is once again in tears. Room service comes to the ladies' room with another note from Bret. The ladies are getting a day of beauty before the big elimination. Ambre said she's learned a lot about herself since arriving at the skankery - so, to fill the 90 minutes for this episode, wwe get to see a montage of Ambre's greatest hits - the mud bowl, the rodeo, the peep show. And, in the interest of equal time, we also get a Daisy montage. She also said she learned a lot about herself. Bret said he doesn't want to choose the wrong gal like he did last season - and then we get a mini-Bret montage, to the tune of one of his damn songs, of course. He sits on the beach introspectively and ponders the pros and cons "rocker chick" Daisy and "complete package" Ambre. Bret knows it's time to make his choice.

Ambre's "petrified" about the final elimination. She says she'll feel "complete" if Bret picks her. Daisy is "scared" but would be shocked if Bret picked Ambre. Daisy starts to cry again. Ambre said she has fallen "head over heels" in love with Bret. Bret shows up in a shiny suit that I think I last saw on the guy who sold me my car and a fancy new bandana. He told Daisy he admired her strength through all she's been through, but still felt she hasn't told him everything. Bret loves Ambre's smarts but doubts she would be a good rock star girlfriend. He said he wasn't looking for "rock of like" and was forced to make his decision - one of the toughest decisions he's ever made in his life. Which we'll discover after another commercial.

Bret has decided. He calls Daisy down. He tells her he loves and cares about her but her tour ends here. Bret feared she needed him more than she wanted him. He tells her that he just doesn't think it's going to work for them. Of course, Daisy turns on the waterworks. Bret's shaking as Daisy leaves. She just wants to roll up into a ball and eat a lot of ice cream. That makes Ambre, who almost got kicked off on the first episode, is Bret's "Rock of Love." They head off for some "hot monkey sex." Let's see if they're still together at next week's reunion, which seems to guarantee a little Heather on Daisy action!
