I can't believe the wild ride that is "Rock of Love 2" is almost over. It's down to Daisy, Destiney and Ambre. Daisy is glad to be home after the Las Vegas debacle. She notes that the three remaining girls are so different that it's hard to figure out exactly what Bret's looking for. They all eat breakfast in silence until Big John comes in with the note and buckets full of cleaning supplies. Destiney reads the note and tells the girls to clean up the house because that day's challenge involves "a familiar face." Ambre's nervous and has no idea what's in store for them. Daisy puts on a pair of rubber gloves and says "the doctor is in." She seems like the kind of girl who may have used those gloves for nefarious purposes in the past.
The gals clean the house from top to bottom, including bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. The doorbell rings and it's Ambre's Dad. She is ecstatic to see him and the two embrace...for a long time. Bret comes out - SANS BANDANA! Yikes! There's just something so not right about that hair. Bret notes that Papa Ambre has a very "spiritual connection" (drink) with his daughter. Bret has a BBQ planned for the day. Ambre describes her dad as very conservative, a church-going man. So he'll fit in just fine at the skankery, right, kids? Ambre, who all of a sudden has developed a thick Southern accent, introduced her "dah-ddy" to Destiney and Daisy. Daisy hasn't seen her Dad since she was 17 and hasn't seen Mom since she was 20. Is there anything normal in this girl's life? She has no idea who's coming for her. Destiney's folks are next to show up. Dad's a biker dude, complete with leopard print tattoo around his head. Daisy is pouting in her room, feeling awkward. The doorbell rings and Daisy is wondering who it could possibly be. It's Stephanie, Douchey Charles' sister. Say what? Bret wasn't too thrilled that the ex's sister is representing Daisy's family. Bret's wig is exquisite from the back. Bret offers the parents drinks. Destiney's dad, Tommy, doesn't drink. He's got liver cancer and only has 6 months to live. Wow. Does anyone else think Destiney should be with her Dad for his last days on earth instead of skanking it up around a washed-up rocker? He showed photos of his motorcycle to Bret. Bret recruits the Dads to help with the cooking. He asks Ambre's Dad about her family and he lets it slip that Ambre's 37. She looks older than that, but she had told Bret she was 32. Bret was surprised and was mad that Ambre lied to him.
Everyone sat down for dinner. Destiney kept making innuendos about the chicken breasts. How juvenille. Of course, this is Rock of Love. Ambre's Dad looked vaguely uncomfortable. Bret showed a Poison concert video, for no real apparent reason. Destiney took the opportunity to dance like a stripper. Bret said she "became more beast than man. It was insane." Ambre said she was acting like a groupie. Bret saw Destiney loving Bret the rock star and was afraid that she didn't love Bret off-stage. He then told Daisy and Stephanie to get ready for a date at a very special place. They head off to LA's Rainbow on the Sunset Strip - a rock n' roll landmark. They have a private room. Daisy is flattered that Bret took her there. Daisy has been nowhere in LA. Bret immediately brings up Douchey Charles and knows they still have some sort of "connection" (drink.) He's still finding it hard to believe there's no hanky panky going on. Daisy said that Douchey Charles cheated on her, and there was still a lot of conflict between them. She continued to babble on saying her life wasn't black and white, it was more color. Says Bret, "Thank you for the education, Kodachrome, but what the hell are you talking about?" Yeah! He's still not buying it.
Back at the skankery, Destiney waits up so that she can give Bret a good night kiss. Ambre's Dad asks Destiney what she would do if Bret picked her and she said she planned to going back to her usual routine and couldn't say what it would be like 6 months from now. Ambre noted that Bret didn't seem to factor in to Destiney's future and thought she wasn't "emotionally invested" in him. Is she there for Bret or for the experience? Back at the Rainbow, Bret is still talking about Daisy's situation. Stephanie tells Bret he's seeing things as a guy and says there is no physical attraction between her brother and Daisy, because the emotional connection was lost. Bret's starting to come around and Daisy hopes that they can finally end this discussion.
The next day, it's time for Destiney and Ambre's date. Stephanie asks Tommy about havong his little girl on the show and Tommy told her he made a lot of sacrifices for her, like selling his Harley. Bret rides his motorcycle down the hall and told Tommy he got a bike for him so they could ride around LA for the day. And it's a gorgeous bike. Bret said riding bikes is "good for the soul." Destiey's happy her father's enjoying himself. They pull up to a tattoo parlor. Destiney has wanted a tat since she got to the house, so Bret was making her dreams come true. She wanted the "Rock of Love" logo on her neck, where Heather got Bret's name inked last season. She waffled about what she wanted - she didn't want the words on it, just the heart and daggers, because she thought the script was "a little too much." Destiney used the word "experience" a lot, like she wanted to remeber the "experience" of Rock of Love. At least the dumb ho didn't get Bret's name, because I suspect she's heading home tonight. Bret is also a dumb ho, because he's slightly offended that Destiney didn't get his name permanently inked on her skin. Bret should have gotten a head tattoo like Tommy's. It would save him millions on wigs.
It's time for Ambre's date. They arrive at a sushi place. Ambre's Dad has never had sushi before. He's a "meat and potatoes" guy. Bret starts him on ahi tuna - and sake - while he instructs him on the fine art of chopsticks. I'm not sure if Randall is a sushi convert. Bret asks Ambre about her age, and why he lied to her. Ambre can't believe she lied to Bret. Bret said he always wanted everyone to be honest abouttheir age and claimed he's 44. I heard he's actually 46. Pot, kettle, I assume you know each other. Ambre is terrified that she may have broken the trust between she and Bret. Bret says he needs to find a woman who's 100% honest in "this house of lies." Oh lies, like your hair? Good luck with that, Bret.
Ambre said that "in her mind" she never lied to Bret. She says her career dictates that she maintain an aura of youth and she told the other girls she was younger, but she'd tell Bret the truth. Sigh. She apologized to Bret. Randall may not like the sushi, but he's knocking down the sake. Atta boy, Randall. Ambre's talking about the connection she and Bret have and says she's fallen in love with Bret. The look on her Dad's face is priceless. More sake for Randall, now! Bret says he has a lot of thinking to do before elimination. Back at the skankery, Bret feels he's learned plenty from the parents and send them home in advance of elimination. Randall says his daughter deserves better than Bret..."but he's a good guy." I heart Randall. Can we get him a reality show? Stephanie hopes that Bret now understands her brother's relationship with Daisy. Tommy would gladly welcome Bret into his family.
The girls get ready for elimination and Ambre wants to air a few things out, becaus she feels she's going to be the one who's eliminated. She asks Destiney if she had truly given her heart to Bret. Destiney said it was hard to give her heart to someone 100% if she didn't feel it was being reciprocated. She said she was "open" to him but not in love with him. Which actually makes a lot of sense, because they've only really known each other for a few weeks. Both Ambre and Daisy say they're in love with Bret. Destiney feels she hasn't had enough time for Bret. She can't even answer the gals when they ask her if she'd be there if it was Jon Bon Jovi or John Stamos as opposed to Bret.
It's elimination time. Bret tells Ambre he loves her drive, ambition, intelligence and "funnyness" but wants to make sure that they don't end up in a "business relationship." Huh? Bret tells Destiney that he loves that she's a wild child and was blessed to be in her father's world. He thinks she may be in some sort of transitional period and they might not be connecting at the right time. He then moves on to Daisy, saying they have a great physical attraction and she's creative - he loves to hear her sing (what? Have we forgotten her awful rendition of the National Anthem?) He goes on to say "You don't just have a closet...you have sort of a walk-in garage of skeletons." Ya think, Bret? He asks Daisy if there's anything else she wants to tell him and she uses the opportunity to call out Destiney. I really don't think that was what Bret had in mind. Ambre jumps on the Destiney bandwagon and Destiney counters that she auditioned for the first season and couldn't "hardly" watch it because it tore her up so much that she wasn't on it. She said she wasn't in love with Bret but said she deelpy cared for him and had feelings for him. Of course, that isn't enough for Bret and the tour ends here for uber groupie Destiney. Bret shed a tear as he said goodbye to Destiney - and he's not a cryer. He's taking the last 2 ladies to Cancun for an "awesome time." Ambre feels she's in for the "fight of her life." The season finale is next week!
Oh, and on a sad note, Destiney's Dad passed away in March. RIP, Tommy.

Welcome to the skankery
The Skankery is quite possibly the best way to describe Rock of Love that was ever devised.
"Does anyone else think Destiney should be with her Dad for his last days on earth instead of skanking it up around a washed-up rocker?"
YES.
If Ambre can't even spell Amber right, no wonder she got her age wrong. She probably just thought the 7 looked like a 2.
"Have we forgotten her awful rendition of the National Anthem?"
I haven't. Oh God, I haven't.
Poor Destiney, cancer is hard. She should've been home spending time with him all along, though!
