Celebrity Apprentice: Task: Dog Commercial (Episode #98)

Omarosa, after returning from the boardroom, immediately digs into Piers escalating the tension between the two.  She really gets on my last nerve.  Meanwhile, Stephen is excited to present his teams winnings from the hot dog challenge to his charity, the Carol M. Baldwin Memorial Foundation. Both teams anxiously await their next challenge.

The teams meet with Trump and the President and CEO of Macy's, Terry Lundgren. Being that February is apparently Pet Adoption Month, (who knew?) the two teams are to make a 30 second TV commercial for Pedigree's adopt a dog campaign.  Nely decides to be Project Manager of team Empresario, as Gene happily assumes the role for team Hydra.

While Nely is taking well, a "hands on" approach to leading her team (she is having them hold hands and meditate), Gene jumps right into his plans.  The men decide not to speak to the guy from Pedigree to see what he is looking for, which may hurt them in the end.  Whereas the women sit down with him for about an hour to get details of what he would look for in a successful commercial.  This could be the reason the women finally win.  Or not...

Gene is really taking the role of team leader to another level.  After settling on the concept of Lennox playing with a dog, Ivanka stops by to see what Hydra is coming up with.  Gene makes an ass out of himself when he tells Ivanka that their concept is a secret because she may go tell the women out of "sister solidarity." This really pissed Ivanka off who left right after Gene shoved his foot in his mouth.

Team Hydra decides to shoot on location in the streets of New York City.  Terrible idea seeing as how all the bystanders weren't helping the team get their shot.  Gene sends everyone back up to the studio where they decide to shoot the rest of their commercial with Trace's voice as narrator.  

Meanwhile, the women of Empresario are having a tough time getting their shoot together.  Media mogul Nely should have this down to a T, however, the team is not working together and Nadia is doing nothing to help them.  The women decide not to use a celebrity in their commercial, but instead have Marilu's voice at the end.  

It's time to show their commercials to Pedigree and of coarse, Trump.  Team Empresario is up first, and both judges are impressed stating they did a great job.  Then, as team Hydra shows their commercial, it's suddenly apparent that the men, once again, blew the women out of the water.  Team Hydra is the clear winner, and Omarosa is very unhappy.

In the boardroom, Trump immediately tears into Marilu for her terrible voice over and tells the team that the men were clear winners.  Trump asks Nely to bring back two of her teammates, she chooses Nadia and Carol (who had nothing to do with anything).  Upon the three returning, Trump was thrown off as to why Nely didn't bring in Marilu.  To which she replied, she probably should have.  But due to her lack of competitive spirit, Nadia was fired.  Seeing as how she is an Olympic Gold Medalist, one would think she would be very competitive.  Apparently not when it comes to charity.
