30 Rock: Corporate Crush (Episode 119)

Twofer, Frank, and Tracy: Jefferson's legacy is safe in their handsTwofer, Frank, and Tracy: Jefferson's legacy is safe in their handsOriginal air date: April 12, 2007

Liz is happy with Floyd -- she's even wearing the girly dresses to prove it. The writers are a little freaked out by the fact that for once Liz isn't unhappy. However, Jack is glad that Floyd's in her life, especially since Floyd is a big fan of Jack's -- he's even read Jack's book, "Jack Attack: The Art of Aggression in Business". Friendship with "The Floydster" is a welcome distraction for Jack, who no longer has the microwave division to worry about -- after the fireworks debacle, boss Don Geiss has taken it away from Jack's portfolio.

After Jack splurges on expensive gifts for Floyd -- a horse painting, box seats to the Knicks -- Liz finally has enough, and tells Jack to get his own Floydster. So Jack does, romancing Phoebe, the curator at Christie's who sold him the horse painting. In fact, the romance works so well that by episode's end, Phoebe and Jack are engaged. Did I mention that Phoebe has avian bone syndrome, and can't shake hands?

Hey you stupid jerks! I'm Thomas Jefferson!

Tracy doesn't have much luck pitching the "Jefferson" idea to Don Geiss, who would prefer instead that they get to work on making a sequel to Tracy's previous smash, "Fat Bitch". Tracy thinks the only way he can convince Don once and for all is to finance and make his own trailer. Though the trailer is, to me, the greatest movie ever made, Geiss is less convinced, and refuses to give Tracy the money. "Fat Bitch II", however, is still a go, as long as Tracy's for it. Which is a mistake, as far as I'm concerned, as Tracy gives truly gift performances as Jefferson and Sally Hemings -- did I mention that Grizz and Dot-Com do cameos in the trailer as well? It would have been a classic?
