rewind, recap, regurgitate: real world/road rules: fresh meat

After last week, Wes and Casey are not headed into Exile for the first since, well, ever. Wes takes this opportunity to drop some hints (read: totally describe the whole course and how it works) to Eric and Katie. Determined to keep Tina and Kenny out of the running, Wes determines an endgame which has himself and Wes pitted against a friendly team like Eric and Katie instead of powerhouse couples like Coral and Evan or Theo and Chanda. Which sounds kinda smart when you think about it, but he still has Casey as a partner, and Casey is no Coral. Hell, she isn't even one of Coral's tits.

The challenge this week is "Human Ox Pull", where two teams must pull 500 pounds on a 350 lb. pallet through 100 yards of mud. Sounds a lot easier than it actually was, at least to me, and I thought I could see Evan's not-so-secret hernia pushing through his shorts. Ew. The team composed of Theo & Chanda, Katie & Eric, Wes & Casey, and Darrell & Aviv won, moving ahead into a second heat -- couples pulling just the pallet. While Darrell & Aviv pull ahead to their first win of the show, Coral and Evan are taken to the hospital. Coral's got a dislocated knee and Evan, who is there supposedly just to offer moral support, learns that his hernia has in fact gotten worse. Like waaaaaay worse. No need to rat himself out, as Coral's knee may keep her out of competition for good.

Katie and Eric are confident they can win in Exile -- not only do they have Wes's tips, but they seem to be less tired than Tina and Kenny after the last challenge. But not only do Tina and Kenny's bags weigh less, they don't have the weight or smoker's lung of Katie and Eric, so they sprint ahead, solving both puzzles to drop their bags and shave two minutes off their total time. While there is a bit of tension when Kenny has to sprint back to the first puzzle to grab the flag they forgot, Tina and Kenny finish pretty well ahead to send Katie & Eric on home.

Back at the house, Wes is pissed to see a now confident Tina and Kenny return. Now can Tina and Kenny take advantage of this and start winning some challenges? Coral is last seen being airlifted to a hospital two hours away from camp -- will she and Evan return in time and in good enough shape for next week's challenge?
