It's been a good week for celebrities gone bad. First, Big Martha exits the big house in time to serve cocoa, see The Gates, and get back to work. Then Lizzie Grubman shows what it takes to be a top publicist in New York City in PoweR Girls on MTV (from the looks of it so far, all you need is bleached eyebrows, a clipboard, and a dream). So what next -- is Steve Madden getting out of prison?

Though the stock of the company that bears his name has been on the decline, Steve Madden has reason to celebrate. Word on the street is that Steve will be getting out of prison shortly, and going back to work as the corporation's chief creative director.

Now, I don't know what chief creative directors do, but if it makes Steve Madden shoes wearable to those women like me who are over the age of 17 and don't want to totter around in ugly platform-esque heels that look like they're made out of cork, glitter, and dried mouse poo, I say welcome home.
